December 6th update
Did a ton of work on the GUI. Redid layout of HUD. Made health bars more 3d, added background to health bars. Added food/endurance/health icons next to respective bars. Added new glass effect behind GUI. Changed login screen background.
Tweaked font code to display fonts properly at other resolutions. Split off user input code from user interface file.
December 5th update
Main public server was moved from an amazon instance to a dedicated machine today.
Added logging of events that occur to world objects. More work on mocking up new GUI's and seeing how they look.
December 4th update
Did some writing for the tutorial guide. Looking into ways to improve the way GUI looks.
Increased heat used by Hematite to Pig Iron (Reverberatory) recipe to 150% while decreasing fuel quality to 40 so bituminous coal could be used directly. Lowered Fuel usage of Advanced Smelter to 0.5. Lowered fuel capacity of Blast Furnace and Large Blast Furnace to 25% to reflect how much was needed for a single cycle.
Fixed bug that prevented longest server frame time from displaying on stats page.
December 3rd update
Lots more play testing today. Fixed Thompson SMG fire rate from 450RPM to 650RPM.
More refactoring of inventory related code. Now all items use a common base class and are easier to handle in a more generic way. Tweaked the region generation code some more.

December 1st update
Did a lot of code refactoring today on the inventory system. Also did a lot more play testing.
November 30th update
End of November! Another great month with 2 versions of Brutal Nature released. So much added! Now we are up to 50 weapons, tons of new buildings, New armor, New recipes. Built in help system for crafting, contracted Vurt to make new plants and new soundtrack from Kevin MacLeod. Redid the sound code and most of the weapon sound effects. Flora biomes where also added to provide more variation in the wilderness. Popup text was added when mining and in combat, Tons of rebalancing and bug fixing has been going on too.

As for today, lots more play testing! Lowered default music volume. Increased 7.62x51mm gunshot volume. Lowered marble requirements for blast furnace refining of hematite to pig iron to 25%. Lowered quick lime requirements for Bessemer converter pig iron to steel recipe to 25%. Lowered marble spawning by 1/2 and increased wolframite spawning to 150%. Lowered amount of abrasive needed to resharpen dull HSS tools to 50%. Fixed a crash when reloading after having run out of the ammo type in your weapon.
November 29th update
Did lots more play testing. Fixed incorrect fire rate of MKA-1919. Planed some changes to how the inventory system works.
November 28th update
Added support for different shaders to be loaded depending on model export parameters. Fixed bug with flashlight position being one frame behind. Rebalanced weapon costs.
Packed up new version for release and took some new screenshots.

November 27th update
Did a little work on the webpage and the weapons code. Added new sound effects for harvesting berry bushes and mushrooms.
November 26th update
Added flora biomes and moved object spawning on world generation to a script so it can be modified by users.
Fixed bug in ref counting class.
November 25th update
More work on fine tuning the new weapon code. Did some work on improving the website. Added screenshots to release posts.
November 24th update
Rewrote the weapon firing/reloading code to be cleaner and easier to extend. Added single round reloading to weapons that use internal tube magazines.
November 23rd update
Fixed bug with area editing mode. Fixed biomes changing improperly on chunk boarders.
Moved pop up text to corner of block when using area editing mode.
November 22nd update
Working on improving the audio code. Reload sound now stops on weapon change.
Downloaded and edited lots of new gunshot and reloading sound effects into the game.
November 21st update
Lots more work on adding music and sound to the game. Added basic music player functionality and new sound effects for most of the weapons.
November 20th update
Search for and downloaded more sound effects for the game. Added music to the main menu from http://incompetech.com/
November 19th update
Worked with Vurt today on getting some new plants for the game! I am very excited to have some new art for the game.
Downloaded lots of new weapon sound effects to add to the game.
November 18th update
Thanks goes out to Sandbox games for mentioning us in there updates!
Did some work on the plant shader. Added mouse-over effect on recipe ingredients in smelter menu. Fixed line wrapping in help menu.
